Large radius bends
Need insight on how to put a large radius bend in a roll cage. I know you need a large radius bender but i have never done this before. How would i get me angles for the short radius stuff I'm sure it will take me a couple treys to get it right just never seen it done before. if some one knows of a video or a good tutorial would be helpful. Thanks.

What bender do you have? What dies do you have with this? What radii are you trying achieve? Based on your initial post, it sounds like you are needing a roll bender for a "larger radius" but then again you are talking about a roll cage application??

I know I need a roller just don't know how to use it in the bending process I Looked on u youtube but no dice. Probably have to wait and try a couple time, some good old trial and error. They show how to do just the roll bend but not with other bends in it that I saw.

No, YOU, NEED MY tube roller machine. I'm in the process of fully macinining up my new machine shops first production tube roller unit. Just getting started with the first parts in the mill. Have lots of parts to program up, machine up to make to complete our first unit. Lots of welding and fixturing need to be completed, but it's coming along good now. In the process of saw cutting, machining parts, still designing some parts not complete yet, lots and lots of work.
But my tube rollers are going to THE NEW premier home shop hobbyist, fab bussiness owner, fabricator's go to tube rolling machine. My goal with these units are to manufacture THE most beautiful, nicest looking, drop dead sexy, precision functioning, large capacity, adjustable, indexable, telascopable/compactable, multi tube rollable capacity, affordable machine on the market today. I'm going to be offering a fully manual unit and an upgrade kit of possible several options. People like options.
The manual kit will have a precision acme jack screw to add pressure to the pressure roller with, with a hand wheel or breaker type bar setup. To roll the tube it will have a manual rolling hand wheel typical. May offer several afordable power drive options depending on poeple's budgets.
There will be options too depending on wants, needs, budgets. Option it up little at a time. Or pop for a kit or buy the fully Hydro unit. No date on when these are coming out. This is just getting started but had been in design for a long time. I'm still fighting this cancer stuff and dealing with a swolen brain, but this is a HUGE goal to manufacture custom bad ass machined parts and fab equipment and tools, and thats exactly what I'm going to do. Stay tuned...

Can't wait to see what you have come up with, it won't take much to beat the HF roller. (cheapest option)

It's going to be a sick roll bender. Very Precision. Will work like butter. Flawlessly. Will be fully customizable as far as color options. Anodizing, powder coating etc.
