Torchmate 4X4
I must start this thread with a HUGE thanks to the Torchmate team.
Especially Bill, Joe, and Jacob. After talking with Bill, he suggested going with the 4X4 table. He also wanted to send Jake to my house to make sure everything was the best it could be. Let me tell you, THIS is a freakin sweet, well built machine.
Parts showed up and I tried to get the base setup before Jake got here.
I was asking about the water pan support. I used the slat support mounting plates to pinch it to the frame. I also have a temporary support underneath untill I can build something else. A drain with hose going through the garage wall to the back yard.
I am running about 3 3/4 deep of water in this 5 inch deep pan. Seems to work just fine.

Sweet, a big depArture from the 2x2, looks like a smart choice.
Could you have cut either of those large pieces on the 2x2?

Sure, these were cut from 2x2 sheets I had ready for the other table. The images were scaled to the sheet. You can make most things any size.

What dust. Its the way to go. Its seems to catch most if not all dust and smoke.

Wow, I can't wait to see how you apply your talents to CNC cutting. Looks like Torchmate is as awesome as their reputation! How many cases of beer and sheets of metal should I bring over? I think you need some practice. Yeah, that's it... practice. LOL.

You guys are too damn funny. Yeah I definitely married the right woman. She spent days on youtube watching CNC plasma videos. We don't have the room or coin right now, but I'm sure one is in my future. Until then, we'll live vicariously through scootek.

Holy crap get one. You do know you can run both on the same machine right!!
Go ahead and get one with the router and then sneak the plasma torch on the back side, she won't know any better until it's too late!!
