Need Help With Parts List

Hello, I am 16 and my uncle and I are going to build a kart from scratch. I just bought a welder and have a decent knowledge about buggy and kart design, but I am not too confident with the whole gear ratios and what not. I am hoping someone could help me with a few things. I am basing the build around the engine of a Honda CBR 1000RR Motorbike. I am looking for a differential and a forward reverse gearbox (possibly more like a trans with diff gears) and am also looking to see what I will need in place of a torque converter or clutch assembly. any suggestions?
