I did a search on building a buggy and there it was. I plan to build a V6 buggy this summer with my son. I have been welding for 30 years and thought it would be fun

Searching the Internet

I have been searching the web for information and insight into metal fabrication and found this forum in the process.
I'm a telecom guy by trade, but my lifelong hobby has been motorcycles. I am putting a small fabrication shop together (piece by piece) and I hope to be set up to build some custom bikes as a retirement venture. I'm new to machine work and welding, but I enjoy the learning process. I hope to get some good advice on equipment selection and working techniques. Of course, meeting new friends is always a good thing.

new here, found through google

Hi, found this nice active forum through a google search. We are looking to hire a race car fabricator. We are in NJ. I am trying to find if there is a forum here for that and/or if we need to be vendors/contributors to post some kind of ad.

Here is a link to the car we built, a long term project that was finally finished in 2012: http://www.exoticars-usa.com/hand-built-cars/

Glad we found this place! Ciao

Found via the bend tech software "pop ups" that appear when I open the software. Good idea, I do follow the links often... still dreaming of that Dragon machine....

I google a lot of home built fabrication ideas. Such as tailgates, hinges, rock sliders, tire carriers, bumpers, and roll cages. I kept seeing the forum pop up, and I also saw the forum mentioned on garage journal, pirate, etc. So I decided to check it out.
