Which software for my needs?
I'm wanting to build a tube frame vehicle and anything else I can think of. Gocart frames, tools, bumpers, stuff like that will be what I use it for. I'm assuming since I wanted to build a tube frame 3-D is a must?

3D is a minimum if you want to jump in head first with those types of projects.. You will not regret it.

3D is a must and PRO would be recommended when you are putting multiple tubes together.

If you just get PRO to begin with (since it has the assembly feature) I can assure you you won't be disappointed....in fact you'll be simply amazed at all the program can do for you

I am very computer illiterate and I have Pro and use it almost to it's fullest. It's easy to use and understand and will do what you want and more. My $.02

This is one good reason why Fabcam offers the upgrades...you can start out low and get the "feel" of the software...like with the EZ,then upgrade to 3D,then PRO,and so forth. I purchased the 3D and less than a month later I upgraded to the PRO. PRO is good though as the assembly feature makes working on your design really easy...
Later,Brian

I think it is one the best forum, I purchased the 3D and less than a month later I upgraded to the PRO. PRO is good though as the assembly feature makes working on your full time it very easy.

If JimmyG is using PRO then you should really consider it :).
