Welder fabricator..
Looking for a part time person to help pick up the slack in the shop.. Work consists of Small Run production welding, Some machining, 4wd part fabrication, you don't have to know how to program just change the parts and do inspection.( can be shown) Hrs very from 15-45 hrs. It is based on our customers needs.. Pay is pc rate and if done correctly works out to range from $10-$20 per hr. I am done with the you owe me a living check my cell phone every 10 minutes need to text every 30 sec IDIOTS. So if you are responsible have drive and motivation to learn in a 4wd Job shop give me a call.

If I wasn't busy I would come down and help. I may have a slow down coming up and if I do I'll give you a call to see what you've got.

The commute would be a little more than I am used too.
Be hard pressed to be home in time to go to work and work my 12 plus hour day.
I see this more and more these younger people have no concept of work or responsibility . They beg for a job but call off all the time.
** I really wish I was close enough to help hang in there Scott

We have a shop full of them. Drives me nuts. constant texting. We have a no cell policy now that's gotten a little relaxed, but It wont be long before someone takes it too far.

I've welded for 30 years and have never sent a text, just don't get it. Kinda hard to weld when you keep looking at your dumb phone

cell jammers are a godsend, a couple of them placed strategically around the shop can work wonders, so can droping some folks cellphones into a pail of old coolant!!!

Where I work we are not allowed to even bring our cells in the building. Actually they can be brought into the lobby of the building and thats it. There is a wall full of cell phone lockers with keys on one wall in the lobby. Lockers measure about 4" wide X 4" tall X 6" or so deep. I use it for my cell and my sun glasses. I keep the key for my locker and just grab it on my way out the building. You MUST put your phone in them to enter the interior of the building.
It's a high security building with a sypher door to enter the interior of the building. It is a security violation if one enters with a cell and if that happens too many times you can and will be fired over it. Thats what you need to do is set that rule and stick to it period. If they do not like it they can find a job elsewhere. It is our job to follow company policy. Leaving our phones in the cell lockers or in our cars is company policy. Write it into your company policy as an amendment to your policy. Have a 30 day grace period, then it's termination time if they can't follow the rules period.
