B&G Racing Computers

I need some help here. I bought a hand held racing computer from B & G Racing Computers,in Arizona , a long time ago. The owner died awhile back, His name was Bruce Huggard. Anyway the batteries went dead and after changing them it stopped working all I'm getting is error massages. I've had this for a long time and all my stuff is calibrated around it. Dose anyone know anything about this, or where I can send it to be fixed? It's like a good old pair of work boots the kind you don't even know are on your feet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I was told the wife and a family friend was doing tech and repairing units, but they stopped for some reason. Heres the website I think shes running. You should email her there and ask.

this will work in most areas but the pressure changes constantly so you will have to check the time of the reading.
or just buy a barometer

That thing looks like an old Sharp Pocket PC. I wouldnt spend too much on having it repaired I would think they are available on ebay for next to nothing. You would just need to swap the rom from your old one to a replacement to turn it into your race computer.

Good Evening. 9 years later, and I'm looking for information on rehabilitating my B&G racing computer. It was really handy to have working, lots of useful programs and the weather calculations worked well for us. Anyone have any information to add? Source for restoring programming? Thx

B&G Racing Computer

I have the instructions for calculations.

I also have the computer in great shape I don't use. Battery is dead, but I think it still works.

Thanks for the replies. Batteries went dead a while back and the programs were gone when I replaced them. We used this computer for throttle stop, index drag racing and the weather formulas and the system worked well for me. I talked to Bruce Huggard a couple of times before he passed, one of those interesting guys whose brain works a little differently. I'd like to have it working again.
