Engine thoughts?

I am starting to gather parts for my ST2 build. I am new to the buggy fabrication and wanted some input on engine selection. For the kids I was thinking about using a 250 honda rebel motor, For the adult buggy I was looking at a 600 katana motor. Any input would be appreciated.

Does anybody have a good source for running engines.

I think your on the money with the adult machine, but i wonder if the kids is enough power, I would maybe truy to get at least a 450 thumper moter from an atv or something just my two cents do you have any pics, please share, thanks j

my st 2 has a hyundai excel motor in it cheap to source for parts and replacement and as a bonus i get reverse
